Event Profile
5th National Extension Education Congress on the theme ‘Extension Perspective in Changing Agri-Rural Environment’ will be held at Chandra Sekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur. The conference aims to bring together academics, researchers, consultants and other professionals involved in extension education and research. The conference well focus on several issues related to changing agri-rural environment and will involve detailed interactions to explore the ways and means to attract future generation towards agriculture. The conference format will include facilitated themed sessions for academic and researchers together with interactive workshops and discussion panels. Additionally, the conference will provide excellent networking opportunities among the participants. The participants may submit conceptual, review, research and case study based papers on the following sub-themes, which have been chosen for deliberation:
Sectoral and spatial changes in agri- rural environment, Overtime changes in extension methodologies and approaches, Effect of rural migration and urbanization on agriculture, Emerging innovative methodologies /models /cases of extension education, Policy initiatives for improving environment for different stakeholders, and Strategies for developing sustainable approaches and models.
