Afro-Asian Philosophy Association Conference 2010 is the most distinctive event dedicated to the philosophical community. The event, organized mutually by The Department of Philosophy, University of Mumbai and the Indian Philosophical Congress, will be held under a particular theme “Moulding Individual and Corporate Life towards Social Solidarity and Progress”, reflecting its thought that philosophy should not be limited to academic or philosophy-centric organizations only, but it must be pervaded into the entire framework of society, institutional or personal. The conference aims to promote joint collaboration between philosophers of the African and Asian continents, and also to uphold Afro-Asian philosophy to a better acknowledgment within the general philosophical community.
