Indian Institute of Architects along with Indian Confederation for Healthcare Accreditation and with the support of other organizations like All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi is organizing an International Conference on the concept “Archi-Medis”, to inflict the idea of designing health care facilities. The conference aims to bring together architects, engineers, health administrators, surgeons and doctors to give a new facelift to health care facilities. Foreseeing new health challenges likely to emerge in India over the next few years and planning and designing of healthcare facilities also facing an equally challenging task; the conference is the need of the hour.
Archi-Medis Exhibhition 2009 is another added attraction of this international conference. There will be two exhibitions, one on Building Materials and the other on Medical Equipment. The Medical Equipment Exhibition will be a unique exhibition of ultra modern equipments with cutting edge technology, while the Building Materials Exhibition will be an open exhibit, bringing all worthy, variant and categories of building material products under one roof.
Archi-Medis 2009 will help to redesign health care facilities bringing together professional and eminent speakers on related topics from various parts of the world. The conference will have seminars on Emerging trends, Mistake proofing, Special Economic Zones (SEZ) and Medical Tourism and will have different sessions on architectural and medical topics like: Textiles, Medical Insurance / General Insurance, Medical Transcription & Insourcing / Outsourcing, Ayurveda and associated sciences like Circus training, Kalaripayattu, etc.
