The 5th DAE-BRNS National Symposium on Pulsed Laser Deposition of Thin Films and Nanostructured Materials 2009 aims to assemble scientists, academicians, engineers and research scholars involved in the field of pulsed laser deposition and related processes to evaluate and share the ideas of latest and ongoing research on basic and applied aspects of the PLD. This biennial symposium is being organized by Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), Indore and Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai. It will include tutorials and review talks by the key experts, thesis and paper presentations by the researchers on the growth and properties of thin films and nanostructures of different materials of contemporary and future interest. The 5th DAE-BRNS National Symposium on PLD 2009 will focus on the significant and utilitarian achievements in the area of pulsed laser deposited materials structures that include Semiconductors, Ferroelectrics and Dielectrics, Superconductors, Diluted Magnetic Semiconductors, Magnetic Materials, Polymers and Composites, Biomaterials, Metamaterials and Plasmonic Materials, Nanostructured Materials, etc.
