The EuroIndia ICT Cooperation Initiative is organising the third of a series of Workshops on Tuesday 27th March 2007 at IIT Kanpur with the objective of unveiling the potential of collaborative research between the European Union (EU) and India in the domain of Information & Communication Technologies (ICT).
The workshop is being organised at a time when the European Union has just unveiled its 7th Framework Programme (FP7) for research and innovation spanning 2007-2013. The workshop would offer participants the opportunity to have a comprehensive understanding of FP7, covering ICT domains and the international cooperation objectives, instruments and funds to engage in research projects alongside European partners.
Expert European Project Leaders will share their experience and explain the nitty gritties of EU-funded research projects which will serve as practical examples on how to move from ideas to successful funded international research projects.
