The Festival of Gardens was earlier known as the Rose festival of Chandigarh. The festival is organized in the month of February or March. It stretches on for two days in the Leisure Valley of the city. The Festival of Gardens encourages the people to visit the beautiful rose garden of the city and enjoy the grandeur of the blooming flowers. This festival also comprises of dance and music performances by classical and folk artists. Besides these performances, other programs include: exhibitions by local artists; events for children, photographers and craftsmen. The Festival of Gardens provides a unique opportunity for various companies to display their products.
