ICOM 2009 is being organized by SKPIMCS on theme of “Rising India in the New Global Order”. Besides, a Pre Conference Workshop on “The Power of Excel (spreadsheet)” & “Business & Scientific computing using Matlab” will be organized on January 5. The national conference will be an outstanding opportunity for academicians, researchers, industry professionals and policy makers to deliberate, debate and find possible solutions on the significant issues of Globalization and its impacts on India. The issues which will be covered under seven tracks of the conference deal with the engagement of India in the rapid globalization process that has brought transformation on several entities/aspects of the country such as enterprises, industries, science and Information technology, tradition and culture, history, institutions and also the overall performance of India.
