IES International HR Conference (IHRC 2009) aims to initiate encouraging contributions from researchers, HR professionals from industry and academics across India. The technological changes and advancement is one of the most striking factors, influencing global organizations and employees, in today’s competitive scenario. It has also resulted in a new dimension towards HR by way of creation of a virtual workforce, reducing layers of management, virtual training sessions, online performance measures, e-recruitment, and thus redefining the role of HR as a strategic partner in the era of technology.
