Aqua Foundation is a non governmental organization that conducts an annual conference on water titled as "World Aqua Congress" with an aim to facilitate exchange of information, expertise and technology among water experts from various countries. The 1st World Aqua Congress was organized in 2007 at India Habitat Center, New Delhi, which was attended by many experts and was a very successful and highly appreciated conference. High profile dignitaries, senior officers from Ministries, renowned commercial industrialists, policy makers, and leading NGO's participates the conference. Aqua Foundation educates people about its sustainable use and conservation methods, so that all kinds of water, water based resources and aquatic ecosystems get priority protection. International Atomic Agency, UNESCO, and UNICEF are the major sponsors of World Aqua Congress.
