IJCAI 2007 Workshop on Analytics for Noisy Unstructured Data would focus on "AI and its benefits to society." This actually refers to the analysis of highly noisy text that is used in everyday applications in society. Noisy unstructured data is used in informal online chat, emails, SMS, newsgroups, message boards, wikis, blogs and web pages. This workshop aims to discuss the difficulties faced by an individual in analyzing such noisy unstructured text coming from various sources. The conference targets to share this real life data with the wider research community.
