India and her Diaspora: Evolving Relationships Conference will discuss issues relating Indian Diaspora. The seminar would be revolving around eight themes, with two papers on each theme. They include the papers on the history of migration of Indians to various countries of the world, set of papers on the functioning of Calcutta as a nodal point in the evolution of the Indian diaspora, set of papers handling the mutual expectations of the Indian diaspora and the Indian government.
