The 9th Annual India Energy Mart 2009 aims to assemble policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, experts and consumers to discuss the consequences of global events on India's energy security. The theme of the conference is "Energy Security & Security of Energy". It will provide a great forum for the leading experts from power, oil & gas, nuclear power, renewable energy and allied sectors to exchange their ideas on the complex geopolitical and strategic issues which affect India’s energy security. The conference aims to address the huge challenges thrown up in context of the global financial meltdown, sliding oil prices, increasing security threats, and waning international investor confidence.
