International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility and Industrial Disasters, with a focus on Bhopal Gas Tragedy, aims to present a forum for the evaluation of the existing legal, institutional framework and role of corporate sector in management in relation to industrial disasters. The two-day conference will be organized by Centre for Business and Commercial Law, National Law Institute University, Bhopal in association with National Institute of Disaster Management, New Delhi. It will assemble renowned experts from government, judiciary, academia and industry to deliberate on CSR and industrial disasters and to discuss the role of environmental jurisprudence in addressing chemical and industrial disasters and human right issues.
