The Fifth International Conference on “International Environmental Law” is being organized by the Indian Society of International Law (ISIL), New Delhi, on 8-9 December 2007. The main goal of the conference is to take stock of the emerging trends in International and National Environmental Law. The conference plans to give a boost to the themes that have generated lively discourses among policy and opinion makers, such as: General Principles of International Environmental Law, Emerging International Environmental Regimes and India’s National Policy, Environment and Sustainable Development, and Enforcement of International and National Environmental Law.
