National Conference on Geoinformatics for Disaster Management will be the most significant event that is being organized for the first time mutually by Jamsetji Tata Centre for Disaster Management (JTCDM) and Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). Geomatics play a very important role in mapping the natural resources and disaster prone regions through multi-spectral and multi-date images. In this context, GeoDM 2010 Conference will assemble scientists, researchers, scholars, and students to share their experiences to create especially oriented databases by mapping natural resources and areas prone to disasters and vulnerability, and to assist in planning and commencing remedial actions.
