National Conference on Urban Water Management: Challenges and Options will give a global forum for engineers, researchers, scientists, planners, entrepreneurs, industrialists and policy makers to discuss various issues and share their experiences to promote sustainable management of urban water resources. NCUWM 2009 is being organized by the Centre for Sustainable Development (CSD) and GTZ in cooperation with BWSSB, KUWSDB, BBMP, BDA, IWWA, IPHE, and IE. The conference will also include an exhibition on ‘Clean Technology Options’ on water management, where leading exhibitors will showcase their products and services available in the water management sector in India and abroad. The conference will be beneficial to discover relevant technologies for adaptation into management of water supply systems in the urban and toughen and continue the collaborations and development of network for Urban Water Management. National Conference on Urban Water Management: Challenges and Options will highlight a number of important topics related to Water Supply, Wastewater Treatment and Reuse, Conservation and Groundwater Management, and Water Utilities, Public Health and Governance.
