Water Summit 2009 is being organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to provide an effective forum to promote investments and encourage public private community partnerships in water management. The 6th edition of the summit with the theme 'Catalysing Investments in Water Sector' will bring together International experts from World Economic Forum, SDC, UNDP, USAID & Water Management Institutions, Technology providers from India & abroad, Senior Officials from various State Water Boards and financial institutions to address the key issues in water sector. It will offer fine networking opportunities for implementing water and watershed management programmes.
Water Summit 2009 will focus on the following: Water investment scenario - global perspectives, Experiences from India on investment in water sector, Panel discussion to attract investment in water sector, Promoting water saving products and fixtures, Sharing of case studies on innovative projects and best practices, and Waste water recycling and reuse in industries.
