Ingredients:
- 2 Tomatoes (diced)
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 1-inch piece fresh Ginger (peeled and roughly chopped)
- 1 tbsp Rice Flour
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 15 oz Garbanzo Beans (rinsed and drained)
- 1 tsp Curry Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp fresh Cilantro (chopped)
How to make Chana Masala:
- Mix half the onion, ginger, tomatoes and rice flour. Put it in a blender and blend it to a paste.
- In a skillet, heat the oil and add cumin seeds.
- Stir till golden brown and then add the onions.
- Stir for 3 minutes.
- Add the tomato mixture, beans, curry powder and salt.
- Cook for five minutes.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve.
