Ingredients:
- 1-3/4 cup Individually Wrapped Caramels
- 1 can Evaporated Milk
- 2 tsp Coffee Flavored Liqueur
For Dough:
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Butter
- 1/2 cup Shortening
To Make The Topping:
- 1 cup Butter
- 1/2 cup Evaporated Milk
- 2/3 cup White Sugar
- 1/2 cup Shortening
- 2 tsp Coffee Flavored Liqueur
How to make Caramel Cup Tassies:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Beat together all the ingredients of the dough.
- Knead until well blended.
- Now take a mini muffin tin and press the dough.
- Then, bake it at 350 degrees F for eighteen minutes.
- In a microwave, melt the caramels.
- Add 1 can of the milk (evaporated) and 2 teaspoons of the coffee flavored liqueur.
- Keep aside thickening.
- Combine all the ingredients required to make topping in a bowl.
- Beat for at least eight minutes.
- Now pour caramel mixture into the baked cups.
- Wait for ten minutes and then garnish with the topping mix. Serve.
