Ingredients:
- 1 Green Chilly (crushed)
- 1 Bread Slice
- 2 tsp Rice Powder
- 1 Egg
- Few Curry Leaves (crushed)
- Oil (to fry)
- 1 cup Prawns (cleaned)
- 1 Onion (medium, crushed)
- 1 tsp Ginger Paste
- 1 tsp Garlic Paste
- Few Coriander Leaves (finely chopped)
- ½ tsp Pepper Powder
- Salt (to taste)
How to make Chemmeen Vada :
- Sprinkle salt on prawns and steam it for 10 minutes.
- Let it cool and crush in a grinder.
- Make bread crumbs using the bread slice.
- Beat egg into a large bowl.
- Put the crushed ingredients, along with coriander leaves, salt, garlic-ginger paste, rice powder, and bread crumbs into the beaten egg. Mix well.
- Apply little oil on palms and shape the mixture into small balls.
- Deep fry these balls in oil until brown and transfer on a tissue paper.
- Sprinkle pepper powder over the vada.
Suggestions:
Serve with tomato sauce.
