Ingredients:
  • 1 Pie Shell (unbaked)

    For the Filling:
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose Flour (Maida)
  • 2 Eggs
  • ½ stick Butter (melted)
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 180 gm Coconut (grated)

  • 4 Egg Whites
  • ½ tsp Cream of Tartar
  • 2 tsp Sugar
How to make Coconut Cream Pie:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Take all ingredients of filling in a bowl and mix well.
  • Stuff the pie shell with the filling mixture and bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes.
  • Remove, cool and refrigerate until set.
  • Put egg whites, along with cream and sugar in a bowl and beat until firm peaks are formed.
  • Pour over the pie and keep in the oven at 350°F for 5 minutes, or until brown in colour.
  • Remove and let it cool.
  • Serve chilled.
