Ingredients:
- 500 g Mutton (cut into pieces)
- 5 Onions (pate)
- 1 inch of Ginger (paste)
- 6 Cloves Garlic (paste)
- 2 Carrots (sliced)
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 4 Cloves
- 3 Tomatoes (blanched and sliced)
- 1tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
- 4 tbsp Clarified Butter (Ghee)
- Salt
How to make Khasa Kalia:
- Heat the ghee in a cooker and fry onion paste till golden.
- Now put the mutton and fry till reddish in color.
- Add the remaining spices (except cloves) and garlic-ginger paste.
- Cook for 5 minutes and add tomatoes and carrots.
- Set aside the mutton and heat ghee in a table spoon.
- Fry cloves and put over mutton.
- Pressure the cooker on a slow flame.
- Cook for 40 minutes.
Suggestions:
Serve with chapatti.
