Ingredients:
  • 500 g Mutton (cut into pieces)
  • 5 Onions (pate)
  • 1 inch of Ginger (paste)
  • 6 Cloves Garlic (paste)
  • 2 Carrots (sliced)
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 4 Cloves
  • 3 Tomatoes (blanched and sliced)
  • 1tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 4 tbsp Clarified Butter (Ghee)
  • Salt
How to make Khasa Kalia:
  • Heat the ghee in a cooker and fry onion paste till golden.
  • Now put the mutton and fry till reddish in color.
  • Add the remaining spices (except cloves) and garlic-ginger paste.
  • Cook for 5 minutes and add tomatoes and carrots.
  • Set aside the mutton and heat ghee in a table spoon.
  • Fry cloves and put over mutton.
  • Pressure the cooker on a slow flame.
  • Cook for 40 minutes.
Suggestions:
Serve with chapatti.
