Ingredients:
  • 10 tbsp Butter
  • 3 Cups oysters (canned with juice)
  • 1 Cup flour
  • 6 Cups milk
  • 1 Cup celery (dices)
  • 1/2 Cup onion (slices)
  • 1/2 Cup cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
How to make Oyster Bisque:
  • Heat the pan over low flame.
  • Melt 8 tbsp butter in the heated pan.
  • Blend in flour.
  • Cook for 2 minutes.
  • Now add milk to the cooked mixture.
  • Stir it on low flame till the mixture turns thick.
  • Heat another pan and melt 2 tbsp of butter.
  • Add diced celery and onions.
  • Saute them till soft.
  • Now add oysters and cook over medium heat till tender.
  • Mix salt and pepper.
  • Now add the oyster mixture to the cooked milk mixture.
  • Stir in cream.
  • Oyster Bisque is ready.
