Panchamrutham consists namely of five nectars, hence the name. It consists of milk, curd, ghee, honey and sugar. It is said in ancient texts, that one who partakes panchamrutham daily will never age and will live till 100 years.

Surprised to know that banana is added to panchamrith.
Never found this in any of the poojas that have attended and of course banana is served as prasadam, but not included in panchamrith.
