Serves 4
Ingredients:
  • ½ cup Black Gram
  • ½ Bengal Gram
  • ½ cup Red Gram
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Few Curry Leaves (chopped)
  • 1 big Onion (chopped)
  • 2 Green Chilies (chopped)
  • 1 inch piece of Ginger (chopped)
  • ½ tsp Chilly Powder
  • A pinch of Turmeric Powder
  • 8 tbsp Oil
How to make Parippu Vada:
  • Soak all the dals in water for 2 hours. Grind into a thick paste.
  • Stir in onion, curry leaves, green chilies, ginger, chilly powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
  • Shape the mixture into small balls and flatten them.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the patties until golden brown.
  • Serve hot.
