Ingredients:
  • 2 slices Rye Bread (crust removed)
  • 2 slices White Bread (crust removed)
  • 1 cup Wine
  • 1½ pound ground Beef
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • 4 sprigs Parsley (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • 1 (8 oz) can Tomato Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Oregano
How to make Parmesan Meatloaf:
  • Soak the bread slices in wine, and squeeze to drain completely.
  • Smash the bread slices and mix with beef, onion, parsley, cheese, egg, salt, and pepper.
  • Form into a loaf shape and place in a buttered crock cooker.
  • Cover and cook on low heat for 5 to 7 hours.
  • Pour off any excess fat.
  • Combine rest of the ingredients and pour over the meat loaf.
  • Cover and cook again on high heat for another 15 minutes.
