Ingredients:
  • ½ Cabbage (shredded)
  • 3 Onions (shredded)
  • 100 gm Smoked Bacon (diced)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • 3 tsp Vinegar
  • 3 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
How to make Polish Braised Red Cabbage:
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the bacon until its fat melts.
  • Stir in onion and fry again for 3-5 min.
  • Pour the cabbage with vinegar, cumin, salt and pepper to taste. Cook it covered slowly for 30 min.
  • Serve it hot.
