Ingredients:
  • 1 lb Prunes
  • 4 cups Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup Nut (chopped)
How to make Prune Fudge:
  • Wash the prunes. Cook them with water until tender.
  • Drain, pit and chop the prunes.
  • Mix prunes and lemon juice and boil to a temperature of 234°F to 238°F.
  • Cool down to room temperature and then beat until creamy.
  • Add chopped nuts and pour into well-buttered, shallow pan.
  • Let the fudge set and then cut it into squares.
