Ingredients:
  • 1 pound lean Beef (ground)
  • 1 pound Pork (ground)
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • 14.5 oz Tomatoes (diced)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 Carrots (diced)
  • 15 oz Baby Peas
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
How to make Sicilian Ragu:
  • Cook the beef, pork and onion in a skillet until browned.
  • In a pan take the tomatoes, garlic, carrots, peas, water, bay leaves, olive oil and salt and mix.
  • Add the meat mixture and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 1 hour while stirring frequently.
