Ingredients:
- 1 pound lean Beef (ground)
- 1 pound Pork (ground)
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 14.5 oz Tomatoes (diced)
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 2 Carrots (diced)
- 15 oz Baby Peas
- 1 cup Water
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
How to make Sicilian Ragu:
- Cook the beef, pork and onion in a skillet until browned.
- In a pan take the tomatoes, garlic, carrots, peas, water, bay leaves, olive oil and salt and mix.
- Add the meat mixture and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 1 hour while stirring frequently.
