Ingredients:
- 2 Fish Fillets
- 1 tsp Chilly Powder
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
- Salt (to taste)
For Stuffing:
- ¼ cup Prawns
- 1 tbsp Oil
- ¼ tsp Mustard Seeds
- 2 tbsp grated Coconut
- 2 small Onions
- 1 Green Chilly
- A pinch of Cumin Powder
- 4 stems of Curry Leaves
- ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tbsp Oil
For Masala:
- 1 small Onion (sliced)
- 5 stems of Curry Leaves
- 1 small Tomato (chopped)
- 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves (chopped)
- ¼ tsp Chilly Powder
- A pinch of Turmeric Powder
- ½ tsp Garam Masala
- Salt (to taste)
How to make Stuffed Fish:
- Mix chilly powder, turmeric powder, and salt in a bowl. Marinate the fish with it.
- Combine coconut, onions, green chilly, cumin, turmeric, and curry leaves in a grinder. Process into a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard seeds.
- Pour in the ground coconut mixture.
- Add prawns and salt. Stir and cover the pan. Cook until the liquid dries out. Remove and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry onion and curry leaves.
- Stir in chilly powder, turmeric, garam masala, and salt.
- Add tomato and coriander leaves. Stir well and keep aside.
- Lay a fish fillet on a tin foil and top up with prawn mixture.
- Place the other fillet over the mixture.
- Spread the cooked masala over the fillet and carefully wrap the fillet, along with the foil.
- Set the oven to 350 degrees F and bake for 20 minutes.
- Serve hot.
