Ingredients:
  • 225 gm Hard tofu, cubed
  • 1 Cup basmati rice, cooked
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 Tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 Garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1" piece Ginger, crushed
  • 2 Green chilies
  • 4 Whole cloves
  • 1" Cinnamon stick
  • 1 Black peppercorn
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp Ghee/butter
How to make Tofu Rice:
  • In frying pan, heat ghee/butter.
  • Add cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf, black peppercorn and cumin seeds and cook until done.
  • Add onion and sauté until golden brown.
  • Add tomatoes and sauté until ghee comes out.
  • Add garam masala, salt, garlic, ginger and chilies. Fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add tofu cubes and fry for 2 min, stirring continuously.
  • Add cooked rice and mix well.
  • Tofu Rice is ready.
