Ingredients:
- 1 Cup toor dal
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 4 Green chilies chopped
- 2 Inches ginger grated
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 10 Curry leaves
- 1 tsp Jeera seeds
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- Salt to taste
Cooking Instructions:
- Wash toor dal and soak it for 1/2 an hour in warm water.
- Cook it in a pressure cooker till 5 whistles.
- Add grated ginger and about 2 cups of water.
- Heat one tsp of oil and add mustard seeds, chopped green chillies, turmeric, jeera seeds and curry leaves.
- Mix with dal properly.
- Add salt to taste.
- Simmer and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add lemon juice.
