Tofu Rice

Ingredients:
- 225 gm Hard tofu, cubed
- 1 Cup basmati rice, cooked
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 Tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tsp Garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- 3 Garlic cloves, crushed
- 1" piece Ginger, crushed
- 2 Green chilies
- 4 Whole cloves
- 1" Cinnamon stick
- 1 Black peppercorn
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 2 tbsp Ghee/butter
Cooking Instructions:
- In frying pan, heat ghee/butter.
- Add cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf, black peppercorn and cumin seeds and cook until done.
- Add onion and sauté until golden brown.
- Add tomatoes and sauté until ghee comes out.
- Add garam masala, salt, garlic, ginger and chilies. Fry for 2 minutes.
- Add tofu cubes and fry for 2 min, stirring continuously.
- Add cooked rice and mix well.
- Tofu Rice is ready.
