Snakegourd Raita

Ingredients:
- 1 Long snakegourd
- 4 Cups curd (yoghurt)
- 1 Onion
- 4 Green chilies, crushed
- Some curry leaves
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp Jeera
- 1/2 tsp Rai
- 1 tbsp Oil
Cooking Instructions:
- Peel and wash snakegourd. Cut it into rounds.
- Boil the cut snakegourd in 2 cups of water, till it gets tender.
- Put curd in bowl and add salt. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera, rai, curry leaves and onion pieces.
- After the onion turns brown, add turmeric powder and boiled snakegourd pieces.
- Add green chilies. Take off from flame and add to the curd.
- Serve with cooked rice.
- Snakegourd Raita is ready.
