Bread Chutney

Ingredients:
- 2-3 Slices of bread
- 1 tbsp Mustard seeds
- 1 Onion, sliced
- 1 Tomato, chopped
- 1/2 tsp Asafetida
- A little tamarind
- Salt to taste
- 4 Green chilies
- Coconut scrapings
- Small bunch of coriander leaves, chopped
- Ghee or oil, for frying
Cooking Instructions:
- Cut the bread slices into small pieces.
- Fry these pieces in ghee or oil. Keep aside until cool.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
- When the seeds crackle, add a pinch of asafetida, tomato and onion slices, followed by coriander.
- Put coconut scrapings and fry.
- Keep aside.
- Add the fried pieces of bread to the above mixture.
- Grind the whole mixture for 2 or 3 minutes, till it turns into a smooth paste.
- Add salt and tamarind.
- Bread Chutney is ready.
