Dabo Kolo

Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Berbere (a hot pepper seasoning)
- 4 tbsp Butter, softened
- 2 cups Wheat Flour
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
Cooking Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, berber, sugar, and salt and mix by gradually adding the water so that a thick paste can be obtained.
- Remove the mixture from the bowl and knead it on a lightly-floured surface for a few minutes to form thick dough.
- Add the softened butter and knead for an additional 5 minutes.
- Let the dough rest in a cool place for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into handful-size portions and roll out each into long pencils like shapes.
- Cut the rolls into pieces; cook each piece on an ungreased skillet over a medium heat, until they turned lightly browned on all sides.
- Place the pieces on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
- When done, remove from oven and allow it to cool.
- Dabo Kolo is ready to serve.
