Ingredients:
- 3 Green Onions, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 1 pkg (10 oz.) Frozen Spinach, chopped
- 1 pkg (10 oz.) Frozen Broccoli Spears, slightly softened
- 2 cans (10¾ oz. each ) Chicken Broth
- 3 tbsp All-purpose Flour
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- ½ cup Half and Half
- 3 tbsp Lemon Juice, optional
Cooking Instructions:
- Take a saucepan and heat butter in it.
- Add greens onions and cook until they turn soft.
- Add all-purpose flour, salt and pepper to it and mix well.
- Now, put chopped spinach, chicken broth and broccoli spears in it and mix well again.
- Cover it and cook it on simmer flame for 5 to 8 minutes or till the vegetables are tender.
- Add half and half and cook for 4 more minutes.
- You can make it a little tangier by adding lemon juice.
- Your soup is ready to be served.
