Masala Buttermilk
Ingredients:
- 3 cups Curd (yogurt)
- 1/2 inch Ginger
- 5 cloves Garlic
- 1 tsp Jeera
- Coriander (as desired)
- Salt (to taste)
For Seasoning
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- 5 to 6 leaves Curry leaves
- A pinch of Asafoetida (hing)
Cooking Instructions:
- Combine ginger, garlic, jeera, and coriander and grind them to make a paste.
- Blend the paste with curd and salt. Add water, if desired.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves & hing. Allow it to splutter.
- Combine this seasoning with the blended butter milk. Your masala butter milk is ready.
