Ingredients:
- ¼ tsp Nutmeg (ground)
- ¼ tsp Cinnamon (ground)
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Flour
- I tbsp Lemon Juice
- 3 tbsp Margarine or Butter
- ½ cup Flour
- ½ cup Sugar
- 4 cups Fresh Plums (sliced)
For Topping
- 3 tbsp Margarine or Butter
- ¼ tsp Nutmeg (ground)
- ¼ tsp Cinnamon (ground)
- ½ cup Flour
- ½ cup Sugar
Cooking Instructions:
- Mix sugar, salt, lemon juice, flour, cinnamon and plums in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix nutmeg, cinnamon, flour and sugar, for the topping.
- Cut pieces of butter into the mixture made for the topping and mix until it crumbles.
- Sprinkle over the mixture made for filling.
- Place the dough into the oven and bake at 350 deg F, for 50 to 60 minutes.
- To avoid the cake getting burnt at the edges, cover the crust’s edges for the last 20 minutes.
- Once done, place it cool on a wire rack.
