Ingredients:
- 1 cup Sev or Ganthia
- ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
- ½ tsp Red Chili Powder
- ¼ tsp Garam Masala
- ½ tsp Sugar
- 2-3 pinches Asafetida
- ¼ tsp Amchoor or Dried Mango Powder
- ¼ tsp Dhania or Coriander Powder
- ½ tbsp Coriander Leaves (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Salt (to taste)
- 1 cup Water
Cooking Instructions:
- In a cup of water, add red chili powder, garam masala, amchoor and dhania powder. Mix well.
- Place a pan on fire and heat oil in it.
- Add cumin seeds and asafetida.
- When the seeds start to splutter, add the masala mixture.
- Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add in the sugar and stir well to dissolve it.
- Finally, add the sev and stir.
- Remove from fire and garnish with chopped coriander.
- Serve hot with phulkas, theplas, or rotis.
