Ingredients:
- 1 large Onion (sliced)
- 1 cup Tahini
- 1 liter Orange Juice (pure)
- 1/2 cup Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Pine Nuts (optional)
- 2 Chicken Stock Cubes
- 1/2 tsp Mixed Spices
- Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Cooking Instructions:
- Fry the onion and pine nuts, till they are slightly brown.
- Combine tahini, orange and lemon juice in a bowl and mix well.
- Add the tahini mixture to the onions and nuts and bring to a boil, while stirring constantly.
- Add spices, salt, pepper and chicken cubes and allow to simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add Kibbeh, bring to boil, and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve at room temperature.
