Karpatka Cake

Ingredients:
- ½ package (125g) Sweet Butter
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 tbsp Baking Powder
- 4 Eggs
For Cake Filling
- 1 pint Milk
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 tbsp Potato Starch
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1 package (250g) Sweet Butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Cooking Instructions:
- Combine together sweet butter, water, flour, and baking powder in a saucepan.
- Boil the mixture for 3 minutes and remove from heat.
- Add eggs, stirring continuously.
- Pour the batter in two baking dishes.
- Bake the cake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Pour milk in a saucepan and keep it for boiling.
- Add sugar, flour and potato starch to the milk and stir well.
- Add vanilla extract.
- Remove and cool the mixture.
- Add butter and mix well.
- Line the filling between the cake layers and refrigerate the cake to set.
