Ingredients:
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup chopped Pecans
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 cup Butter (softened)
- 1 cup White Sugar
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 2 ½ cups Rolled Oats
- 2 cups Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
- I tsp Vanilla Extract
Cooking Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together. Process the rolled oats in a food processor until powdered and then combine it with the sifted ingredients.
- Take a large bowl and beat together butter, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Beat the eggs one at a time and then stir them with vanilla.
- Stir in the dry ingredients until both the egg and vanilla and the ingredients are well blended. Fold in the chocolate chips and pecans and drop onto an ungreased cookie sheet with a rounded spoon.
- Bake it for 8-10 min in the preheated oven. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 min before removing them to a wire rack to cool completely.
