Ingredients:
- 1/8 cup Olive Oil
- 1 pound Beef (ground)
- 1/4 cup Bacon
- 4 Pork Hocks (meat removed)
- 2 Onions (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 14.5 oz Sauerkraut (drained)
- 2 cups short-grain White Rice (uncooked)
- 4 cups Chicken Broth
Cooking Instructions:
- In a large skillet heat the oil and then cook the beef, bacon and pork meat until brown.
- Add the onions and stir.
- Sprinkle the salt and pepper.
- Add the rice and sauerkraut and stir to mix thoroughly.
- Place the mixture in a casserole and add the chicken broth and stir.
- Bake it in a preheated oven at 190 degrees C for 45 minutes until the rice is cooked. Do not let the water dry out. Occasionally add water if necessary.
