Ingredients:
- 2 quarts Vegetable Oil (for deep frying)
- ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black Pepper (ground)
- 12 oz shucked Oysters (drained)
- 2 Eggs (lightly beaten)
- ¾ cup fine Bread Crumbs
Cooking Instructions:
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer.
- Mix together flour, salt and black pepper.
- Mix the oysters in flour mixture and dip in egg. End by rolling them in bread crumbs.
- Slide the oysters into the hot oil.
- Cook the oysters for about 2 minutes till they turn golden brown.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot.
