Ingredients:
- 1 cup Split Green Gram Skinless (Dhuli moong dal)
- 2 tbsp Rice Flour (Chaawala kaa aattaa)
- 3/4 cup Jaggery (Gur)
- 3 medium Sweet Potatoes
- 6 tbsp Ghee
- 1/2 tsp Green Cardamom Powder
Cooking Instructions:
- In a wok (kadhai), dry roast the moong dal till light brown. Now add two cups of hot water to it and cook till done.
- In a pan, heat 3 tablespoon of ghee and add the boiled dal and sauté for a while.
- Now add the rice flour and jaggery to it and mix well. Cook till the jaggery melts.
- Add the mashed sweet potatoes to it and cook till dry.
- Remove from heat and transfer the contents in a big bowl and allow it to cool.
- Add green cardamom powder to it and mix well.
- Now roll out small cylindrical shaped pulis from the mixture.
- In a wok (kadhai), heat ghee and fry the pulis till golden brown.
- Drain and absorb the excess oil.
- Serve hot.
