Ingredients:
- 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- ½ cup Peanut Butter
- 1 cup Butter
- 1¼ cups packed Brown Sugar
- ¾ cup Whole Bran Cereal
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2½ cups Raisins
- 2 cups Rolled Oats
Cooking Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
- Line cookie sheets with aluminum foil or baking parchment.
- Place a large saucepan on medium heat and melt butter.
- Add peanut butter and brown sugar. Stir to melt the mixture and remove from heat.
- Pour the mixture into a large mixing bowl.
- Add bran cereal, eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Add in raisins and oats. Stir well to evenly blend the ingredients.
- Sift flour and baking soda in a separate bowl.
- Add the flour mixture to the peanut butter mixture. Mix well.
- Place tablespoons of the batter on cookie sheets.
- Dip a fork into water and press the cookies to flatten them measuring ½-inch thick.
- Bake the cookies for 15 minutes till they are lightly colored.
- Remove and cool the cookies on wire racks.
