Ingredients:
- 12 pound Bone-In Ham
- 1/2 cup whole Cloves
- 1/2 cup packed Brown Sugar
- 20 oz Pineapple rings in heavy syrup
- 4 oz Maraschino Cherries (chopped)
- 12 fluid oz Lemon Flavored Carbonated Beverage
Cooking Instructions:
- Make small incisions on the ham and insert a clove into each.
- Drain the syrup from the pineapple rings in a bowl and add the brown sugar and lime soda. Stir thoroughly to mix.
- Rub the ham with this mixture to coat.
- Top the ham with the pineapple rings.
- Into the center of each pineapple ring place a cherry and secure with a toothpick.
- Bake for 5 hours in an oven preheated at 160 degrees C. Baste frequently with the pork drippings.
