Ingredients:
- 1 kg Wheat Flour
- A pinch of Salt
- 150 g Sugar
- 100 g Butter
- Warm Water (as required)
- Oil (to fry)
Cooking Instructions:
- Melt sugar, salt, and butter in warm water. Blend until the sugar and butter are completely dissolved.
- Add this mixture to flour and knead to make smooth and soft dough for several minutes until no air remains in it.
- Roll out the dough into 1-1½ inch thick circle.
- Cut it into different shapes (triangle, star and square, whatever you wish)
- Make designs over it using knife.
- Heat enough oil (almost 4 inches deep) and toss in the pieces into batches.
- Fry until golden brown in color.
- Serve hot with cheese, butter, or jam.
