Ingredients:
- 2½ cups Milk
- ½ cup whipping Cream
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- ½ cup Powva/Chiwda (flaked or pressed rice)
- 5 tbsp slivered Almonds
- 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
- ½ tsp powdered Nutmeg
- 3/4 tsp Vanilla Essence
Cooking Instructions:
- Rinse and drain the powva. Keep aside.
- Boil milk, reserving ¼ cup, with sugar.
- Stir the cream into the reserved ¼ cup milk.
- When the sugar has dissolved, add powva and continue stirring until the mixture thickens.
- Add almonds and cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and leave aside for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cream, nutmeg, and vanilla. Mix and set it in the
- refrigerator.
- Serve cool.
